Handcrafted pine-wood bird houses built to give sparrows, finches and other small garden visitors a safe place to nest.
A good bird house is less about decoration and more about a few practical details: a small entrance hole sized for sparrows and finches (not bigger birds), a slanted roof that sheds monsoon rain, and a side or back access point for occasional cleaning between nesting seasons.
Where you hang it matters as much as the house itself - height, direction, and how much cover is nearby all affect whether birds actually move in.
